One of the reasons we developed RunHelper Connect is to enable our customers to connect with each other and share their running experience with the community. We are thrilled to announce that we have added Forums to our apps where you can do, just that.
To access the forums tap on the Connect tab in your app, then tap on the Forums button. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here’s a screenshot that introduces the Forums and how to use them:

I’m trying to lose some weight but it’s hard to stay with any program, any ideas?
Joe,
Most of us struggle with the same problem when it comes to losing weight. It is hard to follow a strict plan so I try eliminating things one at a time. For instance, I don’t drink anything other than water. I ignore Starbucks (even though I LOVE their Salted Caramel Mocha) and I stay away from soft drinks. Just that simple change can make a difference.
I’m 16 weeks away from my first marathon and up until this week I was running 6miles 4times a week and then 8-10 one day a week but this week one of my legs is killing now panicking I won’t be trained up in time for the marathon. Any advice?
Sally,
I didn’t see this post until now and I am so sorry. Please tell me you went to see your physician and that you got better.
I like the forums but as yet see no way to reach them from anything but my phone. Forums where I have to type with two thumbs are going to get far less interaction from me than ones I can also type on from my computer. Is there a way to get to the forums from the web that I’m missing?
Todd,
We are working on integrating the forums into our RunHelper Connect website. I’ll let you know when it goes live. Thanks for contributing to the forums as they currently are.
Just started back running. I have not been able to get back into it. My last race was in jan in Chicago. Not sure how to get it back. The desire is just not there and I want it to be.
Me exactly! I ran my first marathon November 2013, but since then it just seems so hard to find the motivation to get back out there. I know there is one more Marathon that I want to do in March 2015. I went ahead and registered for it and think that will give me some motivation and a goal to work towards. I also have slowly changed most of my older music to newer, fresher music on IPod Shuffle. I got out yesterday and ran 3 miles and was proud of doing that. I felt better about myself and new goal I’ve set. I finally just had to quit pouting and just decide to do it—you can do it too!!
Good for you! We are training for our first Marathon in January 2015. I haven’t felt this good in a long time. Sometimes signing up for a race and stopping the pouting can make a world of difference!
